Test Ride & Demo Bicycle

1. Acknowledgement of Risk
I understand that bicycling is an inherently risky activity. Riding a bicycle on public roads, bike paths, or other terrain involves risks that may result in property damage, serious injury, or death.

These risks include, but are not limited to: collisions with vehicles, pedestrians, or other cyclists; road hazards such as potholes, gravel, debris, or uneven surfaces; mechanical failure or equipment malfunction; weather or environmental conditions; and my own negligence or the negligence of others. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with operating the Bike.

2. Rider Responsibility
I agree that I am physically capable of safely operating a bicycle; I will ride the Bike responsibly and within my abilities; I will obey all applicable traffic laws and local regulations; I will wear a helmet while riding the Bike; and I will return the Bike at the agreed time and in the same condition in which it was received, normal wear excepted.

3. Equipment Condition
I acknowledge that the Bike has been made available for demonstration purposes. I accept the Bike as-is and understand that Shickluna cannot guarantee against all possible mechanical issues. I agree to inspect the Bike before riding and notify staff immediately if I believe there is any safety concern.

4. Release of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release and discharge Shickluna Bike Shop, its owners, employees, agents, and representatives from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising from or related to my use of the Bike, including those resulting from ordinary negligence. This release applies to any injury, death, loss, or damage that may occur while participating in a test ride or demo.

5. Damage or Loss
I accept responsibility for any damage, theft, or loss of the Bike that occurs while it is in my possession, except for damage caused by a verifiable mechanical defect. Shickluna reserves the right to charge the rider for repair or replacement costs resulting from misuse, negligence, crash damage, or failure to return the Bike.

6. Indemnification
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Shickluna Bike Shop from any claims, damages, costs, or legal fees arising from my use of the Bike.

7. Agreement
I certify that I am at least 18 years old, or a parent/guardian is signing on my behalf; I have read and understand this waiver; and I sign it voluntarily and agree to be bound by its terms.
